What A Day....

Its freezing here!  With the windchill,  its like 9 degrees out.  BRRRRR!!!  So I am cuddled up under a blanket,  reading on my Kindle Touch.  I am currently reading Mistress Of The Art Of Death for a book club I recently joined.  Its a pretty good book so far.  I am enjoying it....

There isn't too much really going on.  A little bit later I need to make BBQ chicken,  roasted potatoes and steamed broccoli for dinner.

Try and stay warm everyone!  Have a great day!

CBN Yarn...

Hi all!  Today,  Steve took me to Walmart to buy the yarn I need for my Elvis display piece.  I got 6 different shades of yarn in green and blues.  They look pretty good.  Walmart was wrecked though.  They didn't have enough shades of brown.

Here are the pictures of the yarn.  I am thinking in the green pic,  I need to change the order of the 2nd and 3rd ones from the right.  What do you think??

They didn't have RHSS in the enough shades of blue,  so I ended up getting a couple skeins of Vanna's Choice in Colonial Blue.

I also didn't put the black and white in the pictures.   Wish me luck.....I am going to need it....

I have decided I am going to return the greens....Not happy with them.

My 1st book review....

I finished "Jessica's Guide To Dating The Dark Side" by Beth Fantaskey.  The book is currently free for Kindle.  The book started out a little slow,  to the point I almost DNF.  But,  a few chapters into the book,  it got better.  Lucius has the whole "bad-boy" thing down,  but he does have a good heart.  The only thing that annoyed me was Lucius thinking Jessica was a poor,  weak female that needed his "protection",  that he "knew best".  Its considered a YA read,  but all-in-all,  I enjoyed it.

I have joined.....

...the online world of blogging!  Finally!  Anywho,  Merry Christmas everyone.  What did you get for Christmas?  I got a Kindle Touch and an Oberon Cover.  The Oberon Cover is amazing.  Its the Bold Celtic design in Saddle.  Gorgeous!!!! Here is a picture...Which doesn't do it justice by the way....

I absolutely love it.  It wasn't cheap,  but worth every penny.  Here's Oberon's website  http://www.oberondesign.com/

I am also currently being trained to be a Certified Crochet By Numbers teacher,  so I can teach this technique in craft stores.  I am quite excited about this also.  I will be posting about my journey there also.

I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the day!!
